Knurv is actually a construct of human stories/folklore about the Boogeyman that Buzzinga heard during his inter dimensional travels. Knurv is what Buzzinga dreamt how the Boogeyman would look like. So Knurv is technically a nightmare mythical, but since Buzzinga loves folklore, it’s just a normal dream a passionate monster would have.

Knurv is my favourite dreamythical, it's terrifyingly cute, and it kinda looks like a member of an ancient tribe of something like that because it looks like it wears a mask, also look at that little fella, how would you not love him :)

I think Knurv pulls its eyeballs because Buzzinga had a dream about pushing his eyes in to look like other monsters (when knurv pulls its eyes it looks like buzzingas)

Here's how I understand it (according to the bio)
Basically Buzzinga can travel between dimensions with portals just like Humbug, and while he was adventuring through one he heard a legend about a folklore monster, and Knurv is Buzzinga's interpretation of the legend.
