To the Isaac’s, you sang “It is well with my soul” and moved my broken heart to tenderness. I have never heard of that hymn before during my life in PNG, where I was born and Australia where I moved to at the age of 15. Upon research, I’ve learned that it was written in 1800’s. Anyway, I lost my only daughter to suicide in 2012 - she has been my Missing Angel, my loneliness and my Heartache. Although she is survived by my 4 beautiful sons, I still struggle with my grief. Listening to your chosen hymn stilled my heart, brought tenderness and I cried so much. Upon my research, I also learned that the writer of the hymn lost his 4 daughters to a shipwreck. It’s true when they say everything happens for a reason, so I’m glad I started watching the Country Family Reunion Episodes. Thank you to all including YouTube with all my heart. I heard Henry Slaughter along with his wife Hazel at a concert in Orlando, Florida in 1973. They were the opening act for the original Bill Gaither Trio. They performed at Edgewater High School auditorium. In 2016, I saw The Isaacs' family perform at a concert at the First Baptist of Apopka, FL. I was the first one there and they let me come in and listen to them practice. They are my all-time favorite Gospel singers.

I miss my church and my Wednesday night prayer meetings. I moved from Kingston Ontario to Quebec which is in Canada to my daughter’s home, she wanted me to come live with her and her husband so I retired and did just that. It’s beautiful here with the mountains where her home is and I would go to church here but I don’t speak a word of French 😢 so all I have is the services I get on TV.. they are encouraging but I missed the prayer meeting where it’s not formal if you want to sing, praise Jesus for his healing or just get encouragement from another person it’s just beautiful. I’m not sure if anyone reads these messages but I sure hope so. My prayers are on a direct line to Jesus for all of you, may he bless each and everyone of you. A friend in Jesus 🙏🙏

My heart and soul aches for this music. I grew up in Church of God/Anderson, IN mission, not CoG/Cleveland TN mission. The main difference is the Anderson org doesn’t dance and run around. But the two organizations sing the same songs. These songs touch deep into the heart and fills the soul. Singing songs at church that I’ve never heard before and feeling more like I’m at a concert isn’t touching me the way my spirit needs to be touched.
