It’s a tradition in our family to read this aloud on the day of our Christmas celebration. It’s such a beautiful story loved by all in our family. We cozy up by the fire after an amazing meal, and my oldest sibling MaryJo reads to us. Cups of cider or wine, children sitting on big floor pillows, siblings or spouses lounging on couches holding each other. It’s a story that squeezes our hearts. My favorite holiday memory. ❤️
