I've driven many German high performance cars and think that the LC500 is one of the most desirable cars on the market now. It's not going to beat many cars in a straight line but besides that, it excels in everything else.
Ironically the sound and look of the car makes it so much more of a visceral experience than German cars. It makes the likes of BMW and amgs feel like appliances.
The LC500 is an unique vehicle and shouldn't be judge without actually experiencing it.

These cars definitely have a presence in person. I remember seeing one in downtown & it was turning heads. Even the stock exhaust sounds like a exotic V8

Older & wiser indeed. I have friends with expensive German cars and they are in the shop a lot. Wife and I have Lexus and have never been in the shop for over 10 years. Lol. Maybe an oil change when I splurge. People seem to like drama with cars we don't. Spending $100k this car better be reliable and "boring" and never need to see a service bay. Sadly, we've only owned three vehicles together since we have been married. Toyota, Mazda (reliable to around 130k. Not great) and now Lexus which reliability will get you. I have 339k on my Lexus RX350 & 130k on my wife's IS350. Getting the itch to buy this one for retirement. Thank you for the wonderful video.

That is a stunning car, I'm in the market for one right now. It looks like it has the same Vossen Semi-Forged as my Cayenne GTS. Which is another NA V8 which may not be the outright fastest, but sounds and drives so fantastically with the NA power plant that I could care a less at this point. LC500 would be a worthy companion. A special car.

Beautiful review of the LC 500 seeing the LC500 as a sports car is something that you shouldn't do because the LC 500 is a luxury grand tourer and when you see it from that prospective it will amaze you even more

These are so rare to see in public. I love the futuristic look of Lexus. Saw one at night once and it looked so mysterious & exotic. Hopefully someday I’ll have one of my own.
