Got back into golf in August after a long hiatus of about 5 years where I only played the odd corporate affair once or twice a season. Now playing every week, and between you, Rick, Peter, and Carter (among others) I'm seeing some real improvement. This is another stellar game improvement strategy / lesson that I think I'll benefit from. I'm still a long way from my "best days" behind me, but managed to break 90 last weekend, and I feel I'm getting there.

Another tip is to make sure you check where the yardage markers are to. some courses its the front of the green others to the middle.

Brilliant timing with this one today, Matt. That's exactly what happened to me this morning. There was a lot of facing wind and I was losing about 20 yards per normal shot. That was helpful about the motorway idea, thank you. When you go to a different hole and the wind has changed direction, at 28 handicap that is tricky for me. I have natural fade with my Driver, 3 Wood, and 4 Hybrid. So it is tricky to know how far over I should be till just now.

I’ve been trying to implement hitting middle to back of green yardages to improve my approach shots. No real success yet but this video has reinforced for me that it is the correct way of doing it. Thanks again Matt
