After being a Hotwheels collector for many years, I purchased my first Mini GT a while back. I'm now a Mini Gt fan because they are more accurate, better detailed and the livery decals are better print quality. Hotwheels are toy cars in comparison. favourites.

I was feeling to my heart for these upcoming sets, I would have find these, those 2 Silvias and Primera (Infiniti G20) and R390, these cars are looked very amazing.

The dull gray rims on the 65 vette.
Hot Wheels, please recreate the look of brushed chrome/stainless look on those rims. Other diecast companies are doing it.

I'm with the few who feel that Primera should have had the true Calsonic livery. A good pairing nonetheless and it won't stop me getting that set if only for that Primera casting.

Really nice round of premium 2 packs. Covers the spectrum for both vintage and JDM collectors.

Nissan paints their race cars black when they are in the test phase of their development. The Nissan R390 GT1 was legitimately painted that way.

Idk... I'm 100% here for the faux Calsonic livery. I think if anyone can do a Blue Livery convincingly its Hot Wheels. Ties into their packaging nicely

That Primera/G20 is very cool. If they could get Calsonic it would make a great garage set, the Primera, an R32 and the R390 all in Calsonic liveries... Also would love if HW would keep up with the Super Touring kick and put out a premium set or 2 of 90's-ish Super Touring cars from back in those days.

The Corvette one is tempting for the '69 COPO even though I already have the Team Transport version of the other Corvette in the same deco. It has the most "pixellated" deco of all the Team Transport cars I have so if the deco on the re-release is a little less splotchy, I'd probably buy it again.

I doubt I'll ever see the other two sets on the pegs but I'm more of a 1970s-ish Nissan fan anyway so I won't lose sleep if I never see these.
