LMN-3 Emulator, Github Discussions, and Group Buy Poll

Hey everyone, I just wanted to provide a quick look at the emulator, as well as mention the new Github discussion page and the poll for gauging interest in a group buy for PCBs/cases. Please smash that star button on the github repos if you haven't already :)

Note the emulator and DAW releases in the respective Github repos were compiled for Linux only. If you want to run them on a different OS, you will need to compile it yourself. I make no guarantees it will even work on Mac or Windows, as I dont have access to those operating systems currently (but in theory it should work if you can get MIDI loopback working for the emulator)

Just trying to imagine- having a dream, make your own equipment, not some wooden bass, or guitar or anything, but sampler synth, code it design body and put it not on Kickstarter but for free to anyone to enjoy ....what a time we live !!!

If you could figure out how to combine LMN 3 with Zynthian in the same device, then you'd have an open source synthesis and sequencer all-in-one that would knock it out of the park. The complementary features seem to fill in most of the gaps.

just discovered your amazing LMN3 yesterday...and immediately ordered parts including PCB. Pretty sure the group buy is over...but if it is still on...I would be happy to join in the next order.

I'd personally prefer just a PCB and a nice STL file to 3D print the casing myself out of maybe some funky resins. Like a glow in the dark LMN-3! In lemon yellow!

Great work. I'm guessing you're probably already aware of the Teensy groovebox project by Prajwel Mahesh (if not, you can find it here on YouTube).. appears to be a similar footprint to the LMN3 but I think his thing is overtly trying to be more of an OP-1 clone?? Anyway, one of the ideas mentioned in the comments was the possibility of fitting the project in to those custom keyboard cases that people use to build their own keyboards. Not sure if that'd be a solution for the LMN3 since it needs a substantial opening for the RPi, but having some sort of standard 'formfactor' to build around might be nice. Also would seem sort of appropriate due to your use of standard keyboard parts.

Can the lmn daw make any plugin behave like the reverb and such? Like if I install Keyrepeat, would it work?

I just installed the x86 emulator on a ubuntu VM, but I'm not seeing a second window for the lemon's screen. I also cant hear anything even though the emulator is registering my mouse and keyboard. Is there a file or setting I'm missing somewhere? Thanks!
