These spaces can be quite a few things, anything from abandoned bomb shelters, maintenance tunnels/shafts, as well as unused tunnels for piping and wiring for ease of access, but it is interesting that childrens toys are being found inside, but I find all sorts of weird stuff when I'm doing my work, but at the end of the day, its just work for me.

Edot: These can also be spaces left over from construction or renovation, also its important to keep in mind that not every disocvery of a tunnel or abandoned space is linked to criminal activity, childrens toys can be found in the most obscure soaces.

I would like to make it known that there is a whole network of underground tunnels across the Continental United States and it’s speculated that most missing persons that aren’t found are in that network of tunnels somewhere.

So, there are many reasons for these tunels to exist. There are many reasons they have childrens toys in them too. This could be used as a "forgitten items" room, children also like sticking toys where they could, also could be used as just a dump for something. Kids also could just be wondering in these tunels using them as a "cool hangout place". Judging from the look of the toys they are at least 30 years old if not more.
While human trafficking is a huge problem this shouldn't be the first conclusion we jump to, simply because there are a tonn of other reasons. It also is pretty rare for someone unfamiliar to trafic someone, especially children. In majority of the cases it'll be your neighbor, uncle/aunt, family friend, spouse or even your own parents.
