A new video with the restoration of a thousand-year-old battle axe. It was used by tribes living in Eastern Europe more than 1,000 years ago. Today I will add another exhibit to my home museum. Have a nice time and have a great weekend!

You got the handle length perfect, a lot of people make the handles on small axe heads too short, the longer handle increases swing speed which compensates for the lower mass of a small axe head.

Looks excellent and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!! I think the natural cherry wood would have looked better, now it look like every other handle out there.
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up

Excellent job. That type of axe was traded by the French to the natives of North America for furs. It became the quintessential tomahawk.

Хорошее видео. Если не секрет, после морилки чем покрывал топорище? На воск не похоже, на вид как солидол.

THAT AXE WILL MAKE A DAMN GOOD WALL HANGER OVER A FIREPLACE, BUT IF I HAD RESTORED THAT AXE I WOULD VARNISH OVER THE LEATHER STRING AND THE BRASS WIRE..

Excelente trabajo me gusta cuando hacen estás restauraciones, no creo que está pieza tenga 1000 años y nadie en su sano juicio le haría esto a una antigüedad, cómo mucho debe tener 200 años
