The Norfolk Broads by Canadian Canoe. Pork Belly on the Firebox Stove.

Показать описание
In this video, I take to the water on a windy and wet winters day in my cedar strip canoe to explore Salhouse and Hoveton Great Broad on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. I stop and cook up some pork belly slices on the Firebox stove before continuing along the River Bure.
Winter is a great time to explore the Broads, they take on a wilder feel and of course they are much quieter without the busy summertime river traffic!

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

The Firebox stoves are the best (IMHO) pack stoves made. I have one set up in each of my camp kits. Priceless. Another awesome video sir. Thank you.

Hi, Just been watching this again.... you are certainly nowhere near as precious with that beautiful boat as I am with my lesser boat!!
Anyway, am now able to look at that area anew having paddled around there in my wood canoe and camping, this summer. You are so right that Salhouse is rammed in the summer, and with the cash grabbing miseries by the pontoon...I decided to give it a miss. You inspire me to try some solo winter paddling there, or anywhere!
Despite all... the Broads, for those that don't know them are wonderful to visit by canoe...at any time

You should be paid by the NHS for helping peoples mental health. Also encouraging people to get out and be healthy. Must save the NHS a fortune.
So relaxing watching your adventures ❤

I’m not in the least bit envious. No. Not at all. Really.
Sigh.
Lincolnshire. Not a lot of woodland accessible. Virtually no waterways..
Nice spice pack mate!
Love your videos Simon, always a joy to watch and to see your obvious joy in what you are doing.
Best wishes.
