Unveiling the legendary mysteries of the Silk Road

Peter Frankopan’s work The Silk Roads: A New History of the World, pointed readers eastward and gave a new perspective on world history, becoming a top seller in over 20 countries. CGTN’s Liu Xin would like to share an extract from the book with you, sincerely introducing the fascinating history of the Silk Road. Liu points at what she calls western media’s biased reporting on Syria as an example, saying we are far from achieving the goal of cracking down ideological barriers. Everyone’s perspectives, views and values equally deserve to be respected and understood.

Very well said Liu Xin. The reality is that we used to be Global and had no issues understanding each other at the very beginning because we understood who lived within us. But, with less and less understanding of who we are and what we are supposed to be and achieved (due to the controlling minority of the times), we began to build walled cities and framed our minds to singular views very distinctively to others around us. Now, we are so fragmented and in isolation, that we have lost the sense of common law, morals, and rules of the earth. Of course, people like the Rich Manipulative families of the world (Western, Asian, African, American, from all around the globe - which, by the way, they count to less than 3, 000 families) have taken advantaged of this and manipulated the cause of our existence to greed for what is fake and perishable. If we seek to reach the innermost sacred part of our entity, we will find the purpose of our existence and we will progress to the galaxies formed for our work and pleasure. For that, we need to severe the cancer of humanity and let them fight among themselves for the perishable riches of money and gold. We must unite expelling from our systems the ruthless propaganda and promises of empty vicious voices that herald the world into a frame of slavery and corruption. Maybe, it is China that will show the way... but, we all need to start standing up to the limited number of controlling families.

This reading remind me how China that has immigrant policy towards chinese in Indonesia 1965 have access return back home through hard labor and re-education program some become poor and rest not married or some be success join cadre of communist including my sibling grandmother son, that is a wisdom Ms LX . It is a called of Chinese genocide in Indonesia that easily China open immigration policy. Currently truth of different culture genocide happen through out scattered borned Uigurs lens by independent vlogger etc. China of today resisted to progress by opening immigration for the painful scattered immigrant. Why not try open policy for same causes china has open policy for immigration exile UIGURS or others to that under progress mass of lands for all people to live there. China policy to import professional workers to build Culture of Xinjiang. Xinjiang and Tibet for all resident of the world. That level of openness is a key to see evidence how East has rise that open to the world resident. Catching talent for all people to reside in that vast mass of land. Not just Hui that has more privilege that currently selected by authoritarian autonomous government that state multi cultures and ethnic. Did China government is ready to take this immigration policy to whose family and individual by getting visa immigration to be resident to progress silk road words of Wisdom. Or it is going to be a clash of rise of China and the rest of the world so everybody shun, blockage, sanction, and closed the mobility of wandered adventure.

Listen, the Silk Road was cool and useful a couple centuries ago. It isn't anymore.
We have something called "airplanes" that make the silkroad completely unnecessary. The Silk Road will never be cool again.
