its kinda smart to look at thermite as not just “big hole in reinforced wall” op, but also “very big explosion takes out a lot of soft floor /wall/ceiling instantly” op

I mean like this can also be done with a breaching charge. So you can save the thermite charge for a different reinforced wall.

Normal breach will do the same. You can use ash and open the top of kitchenwall from above too

Oh yeah people may say ACE is better but the fact thermite can blow up electrified walls. Like this, chalet second floor bedroom and Oregon bedroom by placing the charge on floor is really great you dont gotta rely on emps and dont got to worry about much unless its a mute.
