I can hear the judge in that case now:
"And WHY did you think that would not get you in legal trouble? As in, the kind that can also get you a massive fine."

bro, excessive noise in the workplace being reduced is a good idea. It doesn’t even matter if you have mental health issues or not. I had to stop working retail and food jobs because of the constant blaring music.

Every video this guy makes is basically highlighting what I’ve seen in the company I work for.

I'm in the UK and having to leave my current job because they won't make the necessary accommodations - requested to switch to hybrid whilst I try to get a chronic autoimmune condition underwraps, didn't think it would be an issue as they already had people working either hybrid or fully remote.
Let me tell you, there's an unsettlingly large number of employers who will find a way to nudge out disabled and chronically ill employees the second their accommodations require more than a minimal amount of effort

I think there needs to be a mandatory class for managers and business owners titled "we already thought of that 'clever loophole' and it isn't going to work".

My job did the same thing, they made team leaders redundant because they were being paid alot. They then gave the replacements the role of task coordinators exact same job but way less pay and the team leaders ended up getting massive redundancies, and another payout, some even got their jobs back with original pay because the role coordinators werent happy with the tiny pay increase and left.

Rural King did this in March 2024, did a restructuring of all their locations, changed the job titles, and laid off and tried to replace like 25% of the workers. As a gun counter associate my job didn’t change, but I saw that the uppers fired the store manager without notice and replaced her with a new guy who had no job experience as a manager. The new manager got fired less than a month later

Just found your videos. Wish I could have found you 4 years ago when the EEOC + an independent lawyer said I had a good case of workplace discrimination based off my disability. I was too ill to pursue it at the time, unfortunately.

A similar thing happened to me to me, I knew what was happening and they knew I knew but they were scared of what I knew about the company and I got a nice severance package. Which they never ever ever do. I took the easy less messy way because the company was just a stepping stone for me, I had a job within two hours and make way more money now. The first month I worked my new job I made close to $10k (severance + new paycheck).

My spouse had this problem with Hot Topic, the manager kept cranking the music and my husband has audio processing disorder. We got 25000 out of the wrongful termination suit. It wended up being a joint suit cause it wasn't the first time.

What I'm hearing and reading is why unions are needed because some places of employment will flat out abuse or prejudice their employees if they can get away work or

Same thing happened to me. I didn’t have a disability but I was just let go after 13 years. They said they didn’t need me anymore. I found out about a month later they hired someone to take my exact job. Don’t know why I was let go.

When I was on a contract one of the employees had a health issue related to noise from a piece of equipment.
The company put in a wall with sound treatment and a door to that room. It was better to make the investment and create a better work environment for everyone.

I feel this, i work security but have sensory issues with polyester^ (it feels like my skin is being torn off i hate it and only wear cotton in normal life) but instead of just getting me a different uniform, they told me "you cant work here. Go to a different site and take a $10/hr paycut" then fired me when i kept asking for other sites with a similar (26.00/hr) pay, i got ghosted and then a letter saying i was fired

Had something similar... when I was meeting for my unemployment money, the day after getting fired, I even got the same position as a possible new job by the bureau... I asked if they are kidding me.

This just goes down a rabbit hole. She should, like me, find a job that will be the TYPE of job that won't stress me. If she needs rhat much help she should have been looking for a work at home job. I am 44. I've been dealing with it my whole life. I find jobs i can hamdle until i can't. My family has been a miracle my whole life. Now I'm asking for help from companies that help the diabled to find jobs that work for them do that corporations don't have to turn themselves inside out for their workers while teying to actually hold down their business.
