Title: Kubernetes - The Universal Control Plane

Abstract: Kubernetes is emerging as one of the best control planes in the context of modern applications and infrastructure. The powerful scheduler, which was originally designed to deal with the placement of pods on appropriate nodes, is quite extensible. It can solve many of the problems that exist in traditional distributed systems. This session explores how Kubernetes is transforming into a universal control plane for orchestrating diverse workloads based on containers, virtual machines, the public cloud, and WASM.
