Tutorial: Weaving Chainmaille Keychains (out of European 4-in-1)

For weaving Box Chain, M.A.I.L. recommends using rings with an AR of about 5.1, but it can be made from rings with an AR of as little as 3.8. Their website also states that Box Chain is square at an AR of 4.8 and above, but rectangular at any AR below that.

This is without a doubt one of the best tutorials for European 4-1, between this, and Will from epicfantasy's chainmail tutorial, I feel like I've been fast-forwarded to journeyman level skill in no time.

Again, A very well detailed tutorial.
I am looking forward to more from you.
As you have a knack for explaining things very well for the beginner, you should contact some of these maille supply sites and see about possibly getting paid to do tutorial videos for them. Just a thought.

Good video, but for anyone watching it is actually faster if you close all the blue rings before you start. Each time you add a grey ring, put two closed blue rings on, then close the grey

Thank you for the Tutorial.. Where do you buy the rings? Thanks!

Instead of buying rings, buy a wire, wind it around a shaft, and cut a line along the shaft. That's how you get cheap rings.
