Hey man, I tried excatly what you're doing but when I launch the game it turns black and crashes, when I take the file out of the game folder it works again.

works like a charm! I spotted only 2 moments in game during which I had to switch back to 60fps (shooting drones at hospital backyard and entering water in diving suit), apart from that literally 0 problems, thanks!

This is working great. I found 1 Bug on Mission "Fire the Cannon" when you walk in water when its set 144 it bugs out and makes you walk super slow, fix is set it to 60 for time being by using same command!

It was working for me on The New Order but in The Old Blood i have "UNKNOWN COMMAND" Please help someone :(

Doing the lord's work. I refunded this game many years ago because the 60fps cap was brutal and the console command unlock only sped up my game - with the proposed "fix" for that not working at all. This is quick and easy and I can finally enjoy this masterpiece. Thanks

jesus christ, the difference is like night and day, THANK YOU for the help!
Honestly i don't see the point in fps's anymore if i can't get it substantially above 60 fps, the low input lag and smoothness just can't be lived without.
Also the console commands like any decent command line support TAB-autocompletion, so just write id5 and hit TAB, and you can easily find the correct command almost without writing anything.
