Ty Gibbs passed Kyle Larson on the final lap at Road America to earn his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the year. Door Bumper Clear's T.J. Majors, Freddie Kraft and Brett Griffin give credit to Gibbs for showing maturity racing against the reigning Cup Series champion and not needing to pull a bump-and-run move on him.

I've been thinking a lot about start times. Formula 1 started at 9am eastern this past Sunday and got 1.2 million viewers. NASCAR Cup began at 3pm and pulled in 1.9m viewers. Bring back the 1pm start times, NASCAR

Ty Gibbs finally showed some maturity in that race and I think he will be a good cup driver if he keeps going in that direction

One thing is for sure, Ty will never have a bad car!

I have to admit he really stepped it up man.
If Gibbs can handle Kyle Busch I am sure his grandson should be no problem

Ty Gibbs has matured a lot, especially since the start of the season.

NBC needs to be hyping the crap out of the Atlanta race this weekend. Keep reminding people how close the racing was there earlier in the year

So Gibbs had a moment of saying the right thing on Tv during an interview - lets see if he can keep it going!

Ty lifted and got on his ass and i think that's why Larson missed the corner. Ty is getting better and better every week whether he is running up front, 10th or 20th he is learning how to race. a Champion in the making like it or not

It's called respect in my book ! On both drivers parts !

Gotta give Ty credit. I'm not a fan, but it does look like, unless this is a one off, that maybe he's trying to regain some respect. He's got a ways to go, but we're judging these "kids" by adult expectations, and if he continues to mature he will regain me as a fan. The kid can wheel a racecar.

I cut off the sound on the TV and I listened to the radio call the race they were better than NBC

It was quite odd that both Saturday and Sunday races had a HMS driver dominated the race up to the final re-start where a critical mistake was made at an early turn and then got passed and could never catch back up. Bizarre.

I'm spot on for Kyle Larson not making that mistake... he doesn't do that. It was intentional

Ty only did what you gotta do sometimes. If you have the best car and the guy in front keeps chopping you off and holding you up, sometimes you gotta knock him out of the way.

I’ve really enjoyed this season and not seeing Kyle Larson dominate like he did last year.

Gibbs will not be taken seriously as long as he races for grandaddys team .
No Nascar drivers are in the top 10 best drivers in the world. Maybe top driver in America

Back and forth on Ty. Was impressed with his race and driving. Always makes me laugh when I hear people say Nascar drivers are the best drivers in the world. Maybe at ovals. Go watch the rally drivers wheel their cars to see the best.

Larson is not close "one of the best racers in the world." Let's see when he is old.
