Like an arrow from a bow, sometimes the universe must pull you back before you can be released to go forth.

Archery has immensely helped me manage my PTSD and anxiety issues. I feel it exactly as you describe. Thank you for the excellent videos!

Bro i swear this video for me personally transfers the feeling you have. Appearantly thats ASMR? but louder and cooler?

I think what makes the bows magic is its simplicity. Stringbon stick launches stick. This together with the discipline needed to be good at archery makes it so majestical. Also man those arms are💪💪💪

I started with regulary lifting weights as well as shooting with bow and arrow about 1½ years ago and it helped so much with my depression. I feel a lot better, knowing I have newly found and great hobbies.

Never expected to get a therapy session from Robin hood. Great video man, I truly wish we had more people so interested in history like you are. Also nice arms, looking big king

It’s doing what you love. You get lost in the “doing” of it. Like “Curly” in “City Slickers” said, doing that one thing.

Met this chap in my local Wetherspoons. When he found out they didn't serve mead, he relieved his stress on the deputy manager.

Well it's archery, man. Of course it's stress and release! Lol

I feel the same way when I get to the range with a firearm. It's at least partially the flow state; you're doing an activity that's just hard enough to require your full attention, but easy and familiar enough that you don't struggle with it. You're focused, unbothered, moisturized, in your lane and thriving.

As an American, my therapy is bolt action rifles. The satisfaction of a good action is amazing
