This isn't even a lie! As a foreigner that speaks Chinese, I've gotten several offers to do live streams and be an influencer. They tell you that you need to stream for at least 8 hours a day every single day! And at the end, you're paid peanuts. Mind you, if you don't meet the all the hours you're asked to stream, at the end of the month, you won't be paid a penny

Social media is super toxic, but what I do enjoy about it is that everyone gets to create content their own way. From gamers to journalists to cooking vids to music covers, there's always creativity. Now, they're taking that away too. If these women really want to be influencers or stuck in a world where being pretty is the only way to make a living, I understand why they would go to a company bc it guarantees viewers. It's hard to get successful, especially in a country designed against you. I just wish the price of success wasn't the expense of their dignity.

i may not be an influencer but i feel like being an influencer is up to you you cant be forced into the influencer lifestyle because it will get tiring and its a factory you cant treat people as robots because they arent people they're individuals this brings me back to the made2express video we cant always know whats happening off screen

As a streamer myself, I can only stay for 3 months since it's too much for me. Those lonely men willing to pay me 2 billion "beans" when I'm just chilling or even won't gave me anything when I worked hard singing and dancing. I got 12 billion just in 3 months but I don't want go further. The h*rassment, how they treat me as a sl*t, how they send me very private picture, how they command me as a 'master' and how they stalk me are truly scary
