COMPARING first class mail to priority when selling on etsy

And you’re trying to turn a profit on Etsy, every dime counts. The difference between two day priority mail at the post office and the difference between first class mail is about half the price. Sure you have to get your own envelope, but for half the price it makes a lot of sense to really consider first class.

In your experience, does priority mail really get there that much faster ? I’ve experienced similar results with both as a customer . But I usually choose priority because I’m worried first class could take longer . But I buy plants from California a lot . With it plants, 1-2 days could make or break their safe arrival . Still, I always struggle to decide if I want to pay the extra for priority since I’ve actually gotten first class packages so fast from Cali . I actually read that both types of mail get sent from the west coast to the East coast by plane . So both actually get to me faster because of that . I get things from Cali faster than if someone in my state sent it . Lol 😂
