I've visited several islands in the Caribbean during a cruise several years back; I absolutely LOVED Curacao! The people there are so friendly, the weather is great, and it's not as overcrowded like other island destinations.

My dad and I used to roam Yukon in NW Canada on vacations. We'd see an interesting looking side road and see where it went. Sometimes ghost towns, once a live gold mine where we were met with a couple of guys with shotguns, lol. Never know what you'll find up there, still people trying to find the motherlode.

I haven't traveled outside the US. I now live in Lakeview, Arkansas. There are places on Bull Shoals Lake where you can't get cell service. The Corps of Engineers on the land right on the lake. There are coves which are so pristine that you think you went back in time. The water is so clear that you can see ten feet down. I call it God's Country. Thank you Bingo Blitz for the freebies and Michelle for making me smile!

my sister and i met up with our brother and his wife in St. Martin. best vaca ever!!! the islanders were uber friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. weather was perfect, beaches pristine. even the local iguanas were sweet and approachable! miss it so much

I went to Finland, 10 Years ago, work there for some Time. EASTER ISLAND looks like a beautiful place to visit. Kind of far, but still looks like a great place to visit.
