Identify an AUT.
It has to have different types of web based elements.
AUT must be easy to understand for all of us, so the focus will be in learning Selenium Automation.
We will start with manual testing and then go advanced
What is Automation?
Take a process that works manually, teach a system, a tool, a program or a robot to perform them in the same exact manner.
Example : Manufacturing plant.
Efficiency : Manual process takes 2 days, can we do it sooner using automation. Lesser resources used.
Reusability : How many times will we reuse the specific automation.
Accuracy : Must do a much better job than the manual process.
How do we convert our manual test cases into automation test cases?
Selenium IDE, Element Identification.
Installing Selenium IDE:
Get the latest version of FireFox.
Selenium IDE UI.
