I really hope he's ok, he should've been allowed to come out on his own terms at his own pace. People are ridiculous. Listen we all had our Suspicions, they did ask the cast when auditioning to have the same sexuality/ gender as their character, but even still he has the right to come out on his own terms. Do they forget what happened to Charlie in the books when he was outed and forced to come to terms with it before he was ready... people need to get a grip

If a gay actor can play a straight role like Justin Foley in 13 reasons why . So a straight actor can also play a gay role like Wilhelm in Young Royals . Kit didn't owe the fans anything. They are so wrong for making this happen. I'm 38 and I was a year younger than him when I started coming out to my friends and family as gay. At the time the culture was not 100% accepting and I was fearful I would lose ppl I care about. The fans need to think what this has done to him mentally. I 1, 000, 000, 000% support Kit and pray he is ok right now

As a queer person myself, I don't care what the sexual orientation of actors who play gay/bi/pan characters is. As long as the actor is good at their portrayal and respectful about the character's identity I don't care who they're attracted to irl.
Sexual orientation is something extremely personal and for some people something indefinable and fluid. It's definitely not something that should be used to define whether an actor can play a character or not.

People being outed is an centuries old tradition: Rock Hudson, Freddy Mercury Richard Chamberlain, George Michael, Elton John... It is definitely not invented by the internet or media...
Sadly a show about your choice to come out or not has been the victim of its own message... Which is heartbreaking... All support to the artists who are still suffering from this insensitivity and may their choice be their own in time. ❤️

Pathetic, any actor can play any character they want. What kind of entitled people decided actors MUST be the sexuality they’re portraying 🙄.
