The comment from the "DOT" indicating this hole is 75 feet from the first is completely incorrect. Find the video of the one from a month ago and count the hash lines from the bridge. This one is between the 4th and 5th hash, just exactly the same as the one from a month ago. The one from a month ago took the shoulder and slow lane out. This one is in the lane adjacent to the slow lane. They will be digging out some of the fill that was added on the last "Repair". There is a level of incompetence showing here.

If these mines are over 100 years old, 1) how did no one know they were there when the highway was built? 2) why did it take 100 years to affect anything?

Since they know mine shafts are below, logic dictates the those shafts need to be filled because the earth beneath is given way to the pressure of cement, asphalt, and daily vehicle traffic.

We had a road company up bye me and they cut tree down and barried them i told them that not safe after they rott a sink hole will form. They ignored me I took pics for future law suit. Bet this is same company and that why these are happening. You can't clear tree for a road and barrie tree to make road over. You have to remove tree and bring in fill.
