One of the greatest playoff performances in NBA history came from Charles Barkley of the Phoenix Suns, who scored 44 points and secured 24 rebounds in Game 7 of the 1993 Western Conference Finals. On the opposing side, Eddie Johnson led the Seattle SuperSonics with an impressive 34 points off the bench.

Phoenix valiantly battled a formidable SuperSonics team loaded with talent, featuring Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, and Ricky Pierce, each capable of scoring 20-30 points on any given night.

The SuperSonics were one of the original "Super Teams" long before the concept became widely recognized in the 2010s. Their lineup featured All-Star Shawn "Reignman" Kemp, future All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year Gary "The Glove" Payton, three-time All-Star Ricky Pierce, future All-Defensive Team member Derrick McKey, and Nate McMillan. The roster also included versatile big man and long-range shooter Sam Perkins, perennial Sixth Man of the Year Eddie Johnson, future All-Star Dana Barros—the “first” Allen Iverson, they wore the same number too, and the 1988 league-leading rebounder Michael Cage.

A shame salty Sonics fans can't see the truth: the Suns were the better team (barely). Let's face it though, no matter who won, the Bulls were going to beat whomever it was. They were THAT great & Jordan was THAT competitive. Thanks for posting Momo Ru.
