Flash powders, generally speaking, include any oxidiser/metal fuel often with the addition of other chemicals to modify burn rate and sensitivity. Standard flash powder is a mix of 70% KClO4 , potassium Perchlorate) / 30% Al (Alumnium Powder - 600 mesh).
