This movie is a under rated masterpiece - saw it last night - it fits the new year 2022 narrative PERFECTLY -

I was 21 when this film came out. This scene made me fall in love with Ralph Fiennes :-) the love and longing that he expressed through his eyes for Juliette Lewis's character made my stomach flip over! 17 years later and the sight of Ralph still makes my stomach do the exact same thing!

I love this version that Juliette sang. I remember buying the soundtrack after this movie came out just for this song. I would love to hear a live version other then this one from her.

I saw Strange Days long before I was introduced to PJ Harvey and I remember being mesmerised by this scene. Many years later, already a PJ Harvey fan, I was quite shocked when I learned that it's her song.
This is a hell of a movie by the way. I rewatched it yesterday (13 years after the first time and 20 years after the release) and it still looks fresh. Astounding.

She is the only person that could probably get away with actually doing a PJ Harvey song and it being awesome as hell I saw her live once at slims and left early / hard to say because I was I was longtime fan'and this movie will forever be never forgotten is a pretty good it's a shame it didn't get that much attention

I love this version of Hardly Wait almost as much as the original by PJ Harvey. I think Juliet Lewis was perfect for this role, despite negative reviews. A lot of people don’t seem to like her in this film, but I don’t agree. You crushed it Juliet, and I’m pretty sure PJ would agree with me!
