I saw lot of comments from viewers not understanding what’s a problem with Reyhan’s pregnancy. I don’t know Turkish, but I work in healthcare, and after reading English comments what the doctors said, my conclusion is, she has a abnormality of a placenta, that can be deadly at the time of delivery. Problem with the placenta that can potentially be dangerous for both mother and baby is called Placenta Accreta: a rare complication where when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. This can lead to massive blood loss during or after delivery and can be life-threatening. However, the screenwriters are not handling this correctly : the doctors telling Reyhan’s to choose - either baby lives, but she dies during delivery, or save herself by aborting the baby ( it was translated like that, I’m not sure if correctly ) . Today, the medical care approach is different. Most of the time, pregnancies with these problems don’t have symptoms. Long ago, the first sign would often be noted after delivery, when difficulty removing a placenta would be accompanied by enormous, life-threatening amounts of blood loss. These days, with modern imaging techniques, we can often make the diagnosis prenatally. When the time for delivery arrives, the usual mode of surgery involves a preterm Cesarean section to deliver the baby, immediately followed by the removal of the uterus, with the placenta still attached. So the best-case scenarios end with a preterm baby, a woman who has no future fertility, and a patient who has undergone major surgery. Okay, I said this in an earlier comment, but having now rewatched the scene with translations, it deserves repeating, Reyhan's doctor was very unprofessional for not insisting that they wait until Emir showed up to tell her about her diagnosis. I mean they just told this woman carrying her baby to term could kill her and if she terminates her pregnancy now, she'll never be able to have another child. This is NOT the type of news that should be given to someone without someone there to drive them home. Reyhan is in shock and can barely walk out the door, let alone get herself home. How the doctor could not insist that Reyhan call her husband first or at least call for some sort of psych consult is malpractice to me.

Meanwhile, based on the limited information I've got from the translations and the show's writing, it sounds like Reyhan has something called placenta percreta, which is very serious, , yet rare and treatment does often involve hysterectomies, but I don't know if it wouldn't be possible for Reyhan to carry her baby until he has a high chance of survival. Premature birth is a major risk factor, but it seems like she would have more options available to her than just risking her own life, or terminating now and getting a hysterotomy.

ريحان لما دخلت عند طبيبتها ورئيستها قالت هل سنرى الطفل ونسمع دقات قلبه زوجي أتى معي سيأتي بعد قليل فقالت رئيسة الأطباء سنرى حسب الوضع فقالت ريحان هل هناك خطب ما هل طفلي بخير فصمتو وبعدها قالت طبيبة ريحان أنا وأستاذتي بعد تدقيق في التحاليل صادفنا نتيجة زعجتنا فقالت ريحان قولو ماذا هناك هل طفلي يعيش هل سالده فقالت رئيسة الأطباء هو يعيش وينمو في بطنك وستلديه ولكن هل تعرفين جدار الرحم اثناء العملية ستلتصق الأعضاء وإذا قررتي الولادة سنخسرك في العملية لهذا يا حياتك أو الطفل...الطفل سليم ولكن انت المريضة لهذا فكري جيدا فانصدمت ريحان توقف تفكيرها ولاحظت صورة مكتوب عليها اطفال أصحاب وأمهات سعداء فركزت فيها فقالت لها الطبيبة لازم أن تقررى في اسرع وقت لأن رغم أن المشفى يكون مجهز والأطباء متميزين سنفقدك في الولادة براي أنا فقالت ريحان ساعلمكم بقراري فقالت الطبيبة استشيري زوجك واعلمينا لنقم بالعملية وليكن في علمك هذه آخر فرصة لتكوني حامل لهذا فكري جيدا فانصدمت وبكت وبعدها خرجت وكلام الدكتورة بقي يتردد في أذنها فجاء أمير فقال تأخرت اعذريني هدءت عمي لكي لا يعمل مشاكل الحمدلله اخذ نارين وذهبوا اعتذر فقالت ريحان وهي مصدومة لامشكل فقال أعدك سأكون معك في كل معاينة لنرى طفلنا ونسمع دقاته هيا لنطلب من الدكتورة أن تسمعنا دقاته لن تسمعيها فقالت لا فقال هيا فتوقفت وقالت هناك مرضى آخرين هيا بنا للمرة القادمة سنراه ونسمع دقات قلبه فقال حاضر هيا

كمال وصل للمنزل لما فتح الباب كانت أويا على الباب ولما رأت نارين قالت ماذا تفعل هذه هنا فقال لها كمال اسمحي لنا بالدخول سأحكي لكي فيما بعد وشهرية قالت اهلا بكي مجعدتي اذهبي بماسال لغرفتها وأنا اجهز شاي فصعدت نارين

أمير وريحان في الطريق فقال أمير في الماضي كنت أقل أنهم يبالغون في خوفهم على أطفالهم والان افهم كم هو شعور جميل وافهم خوف عمي على ماسال أنا لم يأتي بعد واحس هذا الأبوة اجمل شيء لهذا اشكركما على انكم جعلتموني احس هذا ولمس بطن ريحان وريحان شاردة الذهن ولما وصلو ريحان لم ترى أمير مد يده لها لانها شاردة بعدها لاحظت وعطته يدها ودخلوا مليكة قالت حضرت الأطعمة التي تحبينها يا ابنتي فقالت ريحان لاداعي يا أختي لماذا أتعبتي نفسك فقالت اي تعب أخبروني هل كل شيء على مايرام فقالو نعم ولكن ريحان شارده الذهن فقال أمير لدي عمل وقالت ريحان ساغير ملابسي واتي

كمال بعد أن جاءت نارين وشهرية طلب من شهرية أن تجمع الكل لانه يريد أن يحكي معهم فى قرار مهم

ريحان في الغرفة رأت ملابس الطفل ولعب وكتب الطفل فبدأت تبكي وبعدها فتحت دولاب وبدأت تاخد ملابس التي ستظهر لتصبين جاف فدخل امير وقال لم تجوعى هيا وجدها تخرج الملابس فلاحظ قميص الابيض فجاء فلاش باك يوم الذي خرجو به وتعطلت السيارة وذهبوا بالدرجة للمطعم وساعدو صاحبته وقال هل تتذكرين فقالت نعم قال هذا القميص تلائم مع مريول المطبخ ذلك اليوم ولما أخرجت فستان أسود فقال وهذا لبسته لما أخبرتني بأنك حامل وجاء فلاش باك فقال بكلمتين جعلتيني اسعد رجل في الدنيا انتم كل حياتي وعانقها
