It’s becoming a well-worn path for dual cab 4x4 utes in Australia. Add some suspension capability, add tougher looks and here comes a new hero model.

In this case it’s the Isuzu D-MAX Blade, which has been retuned and restyled by the ute experts at Walkinshaw Automotive.

These guys know their stuff and they’d want to, because the Isuzu D-MAX Blade is a hefty $76,990 drive-away.

Does anyone know who makes the flow-form 17x8.5 P18 offset wheels for Walkinshaw ?

I spent the same amount on a 2023 X-Terrain with upgraded GVM, canopy, roof rack, new rims with all terrains, 270-degree awning, towing pack, tinted windows, and throttle controller. the Blade is not worth it.
better off purchasing a standard DMax, throw aftermarket wheels and tyres on it, exhaust and a tune. still be cheaper with more power.

Low range in a 4x4 is an off road 'feature'? Just think about that champ.

If only it had similar outputs to the GR Hilux …

No towing change. NOT worth the extra money I am afraid. I don't understand the car manufacturers of today. WE Aussies want grunt for practical reasons. Our country is HUGE.

Pretty big miss. Why didn’t they at least use the xterrain, give it a 50mm lift, instead of cheap spacers, and increase it gvm? Pretty big let down for the price tag Isuzu. !

Take a 63k car, subtract the cost of the parts you remove, and add the new parts. Charge full driveway pricing. There must be at least an additional 15k profit on top of the base model's profit margin.
