There's absolutely nothing wrong with genning legal Pokémon. It doesnt affect the competitive nature of the game and for people in these tourneys, the time sink to make legit teams is pointless. Kinda late to the party here. Quick question. Where do you or hack detectives (for lack of a better term) get the detailed info about a players pokemon? Like IV is a whole calculation to get and weight is even a hidden value. Where is that info from? Thanks!

You try to call out Wolfe like he’s the only one who has ever used hacked Pokémon in a tournament. Am I defending him for hacking? No. But why call out one specific person when stuff like this is super common? You also gotta realize, it’s not like he is using Pokémon with illegal move sets. The hacking is only so it can be shiny or have good IVs or be in a certain ball or somethin. Competitive Pokémon isn’t about the process of getting those Pokémon to the competition, if they were illegal Pokémon you would just get DQd anyway. It is about actually being able to know how play competitive Pokémon and use them. You can have all the hacked Pokémon you want but it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to use them or don’t know any strategy. So can y’all just chill out a bit?

From what I've learned from the comments, I guess it just shows more of the fact that most players hate grinding of this kind. With even the Pokémon officials knowing about these kinds of cheating but not taking action as apparently that would mean outing a significant amount of players (which they don't want),
I think they should just make a separate competition for these players who don't want to grind for getting their teams

Even if he hacked these Pokémon, he’s not making them better than they should be normally(eg:adding stats or giving different abilities), he’s just building a good team. He’s not giving himself an advantage.
