this is my favorite instrumental in this episode!! it seems to be karens theme, and it shows through the music, too!! it has the same chords as “free spirits” from episode two, the song played in the reynolds household. you can also hear the melody from it around 1:53 in your right ear! the guitar strums that start around 2:21 also remind me of “a moment of calm” you hear in the diaz household in episode one... though that could be a stretch LMAO... not to mention its in the same key as “into the woods” as well!

its amazing to me to see all of these elements from those different songs put together to symbolize who karen used to be... a daughter, a wife, and a mom. but even then, theyre just faint hints. its still its own song, just with bits and pieces of her past sprinkled into it.... just like karen

Had tears going down my face when Sean and Karen sat and (in my playthrough) smoked together outside the motel, while this song played. Still doesn't know why I was crying but I MUST play through the game again.
