How vastly different the West Coast is from its eastern counterpart. Here the mountains meet the ocean in the most dramatic way. Beautiful California, Oregon and Washington State. In some spots, like Marin County, there are redwood groves nearby.

I miss Northern California where I was raised but I love living in Brazil now in retirement life. If I could afford it I for sure would still live on the pacific coast instead of the Atlantic coast.

You’ll have to go to Sand Dollar beach from the south since the road (Highway 1) is closed just north of Sand Dollar Beach as of September 1, 2024.

I'm not a big fan of the ocean. I go to the beach sometimes, but the constant white noise gets to me. Give me a mountain stream or lake any day.

And not a single image of a sand dollar. You should have chosen a different title. That way, the viewer doesn't end viewing it with a sense of unfulfilled expectation and disappointment.
