I lost my best friend last month because of bipolar disorder
He suffered for about 5 years and then he decided to take care of it..
As he always used to say,
"When I die my atoms will spread in the universe, I will be everywhere" .

Honestly in my opinion as someone who has bipolar disorder. It's like having no control over your mood and emotions. One moment you can conquer the word and the other moment you can't move off your bed cause your so suicidal. It tends to affect every aspect of your life. Like school one moment you want to study and ace a test but when you get down your all f**k it all doesn't matter if I fail. And this is just me speaking but my mood can change so quickly.. I could have the best day ever and one bad thought or action can make me feel awful and self hate.. and you kinda just have to deal with it. You know those shows where theres a devil and an angel on your shoulder it's kinda like that but just the devil is telling you, your an awful person and your not worth anything and the angel is trying to convince you that your not.. it's basically an internal war with yourself.

Lived with Bi-polar disorder for years and I'm telling you the depression can last so long, you literally are desperate for the high to come back and the highs can feel like you're on drugs. I kid you not that doctor's drug tested me just to figure out what was wrong with me. I was so happy but more than happy, like euphoric and high. I have the time of my life sometimes and once I realize I'm the only one enjoying myself, the depression hits and I regret everything I did will in mania.

I get really depressed, really easy. When I get like that, I don't like talking about my problems or why I am depressed. I like being alone in those times. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but that day could've started out terrific. I could've been having the time on my life and then I just get depressed out of nowhere. It hurts, but when I get like that, I don't want to fix it, I want to lay there and cry.

Update (09.16.2022): i tend to panic, freak out, and feel down or depressed the moment i wake up, it follows me to sleep. I feel like over time, something is strangling me and i can breathe less and less. Voices at times, my thoughts are no longer quiet. I just want to quit feeling, but i want to live. I cant cry anymore. Just a few tears.

Living with bipolar disorder, I can say my relationships have always been affected the most. It's been hard to keep friends and even harder to keep intimate relationships. You think everything is fine with everyone and then the next second you're questioning when they'll leave. You start manifesting these thoughts that arent normal and extremely paranoid.

"just go and see a doctor" easy to say when you're not living in a third world and/or a developing country.

I don't have a bipolar disorder but I do suffer from a mental disability but I try to not let that bother me as much. I hate it when some people tell me that it's not a big deal that I should learn to "get over it". They don't always know where I'm coming from plain and simple. I do suffer from Anxiety and sometimes depression that I take pills for treating it. It's caused by my traumatic experience in school I just hope to graduate this June to get my diploma once and for all.

My bipolar disorder has demolished so many relationships over the years, especially with my family. Being bipolar makes it 10x harder to have steady or healthy relationships.
