Dry is the way to go when it comes to electric

It may simply work better dry. You could try William's lectric shave which is a preshave designed specifically for electric razors. I have not tried this myself.

Does seem like the cream would lube it and make it work a little better.. wonder if you just used a preshave oil if it would work better?? If not i guess that's one less thing you need to do for the best performance

Try using a light oil like jojoba oil. It really helps.

Shaving cream doesnt help the one blade imo. Ive never found cream to help any electric shaver or clipper

you don't need cream for one blade. try dry, you don't feel a thing..

The trimmer is not permanent and needs to be replaced, and it is expensive.

Shaving cream sucks with these blades or those cheap gillet disposable one. Shaving cream work perfectly with Barbar blade or Double edged safety razor
