Saw this 8 days ago and haven't stopped thinking about it. The reviews almost made me bail, but so glad I went. Most depressing thing ever, but 4 hours of flawless acting was well worth it. Hard not to worry about the actors, though. How do they go through this over and over? They are all brilliant, but Ramsey Nasr... I don't understand how he does this. I didn't know him before but he's now one of my favorite actors. And the actor who plays his three abusers... How does that not break your brain? Hope they've all got a serious self-care routine. ❤️ 🤗

You get invested fairly quick into the lives of JB, Malcom, Willem, and Jude in a span of one second. They all have such interesting and profound lives tied together like a knot you'd often find in gifts for the holidays. This play is telling us that we shouldn't let this go past us. We must engage with the story and how it all plays a part into our own lives.
