Zomato will always be higher because they have platform fee, gst on gst inclusive mrp and packing charges and handling fee and then delivery charge and if the distance is more than 7km, then distance fee which increases after every 3 kms after that and if there is rain or some traffic or you are ordering after 10pm, then there are surcharges..

Nowadays what i do is i call the restaurant directly and ask them for the menu to be send on my wats app...then book the food directly...then Uber in-store pickup...
That will be far less than swiggy or zomato

Yeah. Order food online n pay triple the price of the actual price of the same item in restaurants.
PPL shud stop being lazy, get active n pickup ur own food at much less cost.
For example. Dosa u get for 40rs in tiffen centres, whr as same item using these swiggy n zomato, we get for 150+rs.
Dosa cost online 70rs +
GST 30rs +
Restaurant packing charges 20rs +
Delivery charges even for less than 1.1km 50rs
Platforms fee 5-7rs.

Actually they provide discount upto 120/- on swiggy per order so if i need to order for 600/- i order thrice as there is no capping on how many times you want to use coupon. Minimum order value for free delivery os 200/-😂😂
