As a casual I’m loving it. Good defense gets rewarded because guards can’t spam dribble moves for 20 seconds and shoot in your face once they get the smallest opening with a huge green window using a very quick shot.

This 2k isnt skill based it all about the game controlling how msny shots you can make in a row and how many times they "allow" you to play defense....mixed in with a little will power

Shooting is fine its the steals that need to be fixed. Every REC game I play people are shooting lights out. The people crying just want the shot to go in every time they hit square

Skill based matchmaking always been cool for me bc i always been a gold plate n up, BUT sometimes i get games vs red plates in which is sometimes annoying cus my teammates cant guard them

I’m finally getting back into 2k after not playing it from 2k 16-17. I don’t understand on my career I play with a 67 something steal and whenever I try to go for a steal I get the weirdest reach animation and my play just can’t steal the ball at all even though I’m 6’9.

As a “casual” who’s also a father that plays only a few hours a night I can say that the shooting shouldn’t be touched. It’s fairly easy it’s just about adjusting to it and using the right settings for you. As well as practicing. If you can’t adjust it’s a skill gap and they’re not going to cater to you they know if they change it everyone will complain cuz it’s too easy

I don't defend 2k, amount of VC needed to get you to 99 is high af, which shows how sh.ty this company is... But this game perfectly shows true colours of player base. "Shooting is bad" because 3/4 of players are running with jumpshots from YTbers and wont spend a second on learning rythym and finding own shot... All they want is to be able to runn down clock with 21 sec dribble to end it with contested shot and they think it should go in... "Skill based mm is bad" because they want to play bots 90% of time. They don't want to play equal game. They want to just feel better about themselves because they dropped 40 on dude with 0 defensive IQ. Real problem is fact that game needs to be patched to prevent cheaters and boosters and this is pathetic. Game should have at least one "open" mode in which everyone can play everyone, i agree with this. But if you are good at game and you are crying that you can't play bots, because it made you happy, then its hard to not call it pathetic, especially if no one forces you to play online and you have offline mode waiting for you

The issue with the SBMM is it doesnt really seem to work because half the time people suck and im a red plate-gold plate since the game came out

Bro I stfg that 3rd bullet of those patch notes is my issue with 2K rn, cuz I literally had played 5 rec games when 4-1 in rec an only played 1 my career game an all of a sudden, every time I loaded a saved file into my build it kept crashing me to the Xbox Home Screen, so I pray to god that this patch notes fixed my problem
