Live☆Twin / Evil★Twin - Decks Explained Very Quickly And Easily

Because when you summon out the original Ki-Sikil ( Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil ) or Lil-La ( Live☆Twin Lil-La ) and you control no other monsters you can use their effect to Special Summon out the other from your hand or deck - Ki-Sikil can summon out a Lil-La and Lil-La can bring out a Ki-Sikil.

Although starting off with Lil-La ( Live☆Twin Lil-La ) is a little bit stronger as you can use her effect to bring out Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil Frost , a seasonal variant of Ki-Sikil whose new model lets you get an extra draw with her graveyard effect.

Either way, after you’ve gotten both a Ki-Sikil and Lil-La monster on field, you can start planning out your heist by linking them off into one of your Evil★Twin monsters…

On your first turn, it’s best to link summon out Evil★Twin Ki-Sikil first and use her effect to bring out Live☆Twin Lil-La from your graveyard, and you can link them both off into Lil-La’s Evil Twin form ( Evil★Twin Lil-La ) and use her effect to bring out Evil★Twin Ki-Sikil from the grave.

Then, because you control a Lil-La monster you can use Ki-Sikil’s effect to get a free draw before linking them both off into Evil★Twin’s Trouble Sunny , the deck’s archetypal boss monster that can Special Summon out both Evil★Twin Ki-Sikil and Lil-La ( Evil★Twin Lil-La ) out from your graveyard at the same time at Quick Effect speed by tributing itself - Which lets you use both Ki-Sikil’s draw and Lil-La’s pop on the opponent’s turn when they’re summoned.

So with just a single Lil-La ( Live☆Twin Lil-La ) you get a draw from Ki-Sikil Frost ( Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil Frost ) whenever your opponent adds a card from their deck to their hand, a draw from Evil★Twin Ki-Sikil during your turn when you summon her back with Evil★Twin Lil-La and A draw during your opponent’s turn when you summon back that same Ki-Sikil with the effect of Trouble Sunny ( Evil★Twin’s Trouble Sunny ), resulting in a Runick Fountain worth of free card advantage.

But that’s not all, as after you use Trouble Sunny’s effect to revive your Evil★Twins you’ll also get a chance to use Lil-La’s ( Evil★Twin Lil-La ) pop to disrupt your opponent by destroying one of their cards - And if that’s still not enough to put a stop to their plays and they can set up a board, then by the time it gets back to your turn you can use the graveyard effect of Trouble Sunny ( Evil★Twin’s Trouble Sunny ) to start chewing through their interaction.

I dont understand why konami doesn't set up the live twins as actual vtubers for promotions. They could easily set up story lines and get more eyes on their game

I like how his script writing has evolved over time. Explaining the card effects through the lens of the card flavor is really good. Love it alot!

Edit: Specifically great work to Cursed-Eyes for the fantastic script writing and Duel Logs for the excellent performance and delivery.

5:52 I’m looking at the artwork for this card here and some of the support, and I hear TFS’s Mr. Perfect Cell in the back of my head saying *_”Okay, cool. You two are charming sisters, or lovers, or both, I don't judge.”_*

It's been two years since I last played Master Duel because of military duty, and now that I'm back, I feel like I don't even know how to play anymore.. I have to relearn everything. But hearing TheDuelLogsDuelLogs again is so nostalgic.

Mono Live Twin was the first deck I played since I was a child and it was such a help being a simple 1 card combo. It was an amazing introduction to link climbing, utilizing hand traps and playing on the opponents turn. It may be a detriment for some but it felt like the deck can play itself sometimes and I can sit there reading opponents cards instead of thinking which card I need out next

I really love this format that explains the ins and outs of a deck easily! Very cool, I hope to see more of this on other archetypes!

I’ve played with the Live Twin deck a few times in Master Duel during July till August where you could use the deck as well as Cyber Dragons and the Eldilch decks and it was fun to use the deck for that limited time.

The LiveTwins are my favorite cards. I love trying ways to fit them into decks. Also, alternate are of both EvilTwins are better.

It's kinda funny that there actually *is* a vtuber pair that matches Live/Evil Twins in terms of both color scheme and gimmick, with the caveat that they're dog-themed rather than demon themed: FUWAMOCO.

Live Twins has soft spot in my heart. It was the first deck I built that wasn’t related to the anime at all. Also helped ease me into link climbing. Here’s hoping they get more stuff to work with
