Sting has contributed such beauty to the world and what an amazing transition and growth from the police to this! He has written great tunes and surrounded himself with top notch emotionally powerful musicians - what a life!! Thank You Sting!

I would've given my left ball to be at this concert... much talent in my favourite city in the world.

There were rooms of forgiveness
In the house that we share
But the space has been emptied
Of whatever was there
There were cupboards of patience
There were shelf loads of care
But whoever came calling
Found nobody there
After today consider me gone

Roses have thorns and shining waters mud
And cancer lurks deep in the sweetest bud
Clouds and eclipses stain the moon and the sun
And history reeks of the wrongs we have done
After today, consider me gone

I've spent too many years at war with myself
The doctor has told me it's no good for my health
To search for perfection is all very well
But to look for heaven is to live here in hell

After today, consider me gone

Well I figure that on my Birthday if I could have these cats as a rhythm section, then my life's complete and I can make my piece with God and depart the planet fulfilled.

Always felt like there was something out of Oliver Nelson's "Stolen moments" in this song. Particularly at 6:20 with the chromatic descent.
