Artist Evolution 2013-2016: A Little Inspiration For Beginners

Hey, honeybuns! I've put together a compilation of [most] of my work over the years. Everything is in chronological order from March 2013 to September 2016. When I went back and saw all my color pieces next to graphite pieces that were done in the same time frame, I realized that my color pencil skills evolved wayyyy faster than my graphite skills lol. I don't think my graphite portraits are on the level my color pencil portraits are yet. I thought that was kind of funny. Sn: Everything after the 1:34 point was drawn with a grid, with the exception of the Rihanna sketch at the end of the video. So this is more so the evolution of my shading skills rather than my drawing skills. Just wanted to point that out.

The last time I drew something it was hands down my best and most detailed drawing. I was listening to a song and the inspiration just hit me. But lately nothing interests me. Music, faces, other artists, nothing. I can't even draw a stick figure lol

can you do a tutorial on your blending ? i draw also mostly graphite and i tried prisma but wasted 135 dollars because i cant seem to grasp blending and shading with them. your the best ive seen in a long time
