This is a very reasonable buy at the $800 price tag. A really good value with the GPU at $850 especially when compared against more expensive and similarly equipped PCs like the Surface Book. Performance is great for Office and productivity tasks as well as more advanced things like video editing and Photoshop.

I am not crazy about the keyboard but found the trackpad to be improved over prior versions. The display is nice with a responsive touch screen but dimmer than I'd like it to be.

All in this is a good middle of the road laptop with great performance at a good price.

Yet another great video Lon! This is a pretty cool device, Lenovo usually makes decent products.

Nice as always Lon!
I think you need to find an other way to tell us if a video is sponsored or not.I think it's in the description area better...
Thanks anyway!!!

$50 add-on for a GPU is a great option. I wish they were all like that.

I own the I7 GT940m version and it is with LG display, so if you want it much brighter check auto dimming setup in power and battery, by default it is On. Also a mat screen protector solves the issue with light reflections when you work outside :)

Nice review. I prefer fanless when it comes to 2 in 1.

You should check out the ASUS K501UX. It has the same CPU and RAM, but it has a gtx 950m instead of a 940M for the same price

This laptop with the 940m option is basically all I want out of a laptop, too bad I'll never have a spare 850 USD lying around, jobs are so hard to get where I live.

Thank you very much, I am getting this for sure now (:

Extra $50 for an external 940m? That's pretty cool, GPUs are being treated like storage devices now haha.
They should really add more expensive options for more power and flexibility.

Is that screen artifacts (bottom and right side edges)when you play Rocket league or is that reflections of your house lights?

Will you do a disassembly video for the Yoga 700? I can't seem to find one online...

Can you do a review on the Lenovo Yoga 710 11"? It has a M5 6y57 with a similar benchmark as an i5 Broadwell.

Is there anything in the price range with similar specs and a non glare display? Because the mirroring of the display looks quite bad.

Is the computer in the background what you use for video editing ? 😉

Costco is selling the lenovo flex 3 with the geforce 940m graphics card for 699.99 in the store! I'm not sure what's the difference between the flex 3 and the yoga 700 as they look EXACTLY the same.
