Alberta Premier Danielle Smith highlights food safety report – July 29, 2024

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith unveils the results of an investigation into daycare food safety. The investigation was sparked by an E. coli outbreak in Calgary in September 2023. She is joined at the news conference in Calgary by provincial ministers Adriana LaGrange (health) and Matt Jones (jobs, economy and trade), as well as Rick Hanson (chair, Food Safety and Licensed Facility-Based Child Care Review Panel).
