What Is Environmental Sampling? | Ecology & Environment | Biology | FuseSchool

From this video you will learn that ecologists are interested in the distribution of organisms within habitats, and use transects and quadrats and other sampling methods to collect quantitative data.

They take unbiased and representative samples, because counting every member of each organism within a habitat would be far too time consuming.

The sampling technique used depends on the habitat and the type of organisms present.

With all due respect, I love fuse school and as a teacher often recommend it - I don't have an issue with different accents in any way or form - but if you're going to have a video on such a key topic, at least enunciate your words!!

I found it hard to understand and it took me a while to realise that this was referring to 'data'.

I hate people who avoid videos due to accents but for real, this is very very hard to understand! Enunciate your words or label the video please!
