3 Signs a Desire Really Is from God BUT It’s Not the Time to See It Fulfilled

How can you know if a desire is really from God or just from yourself? What does the Bible say about God giving you the desires of your heart? Here are 3 signs that a desire is from God but it's not the right time to see that desire fulfilled.

2. It's a biblical internal calling but you need to wait for the external opportunity to fulfill this calling.
3. If it's forshadowing a deeper desire that God can only fulfill in the next phase of his redemption story.

My desire is to continue to gain biblical wisdom and understanding. I would love to know what my purpose in life is. I want to help animals and make a difference is someone's world.
I also desire for a wonderful marriage that is first and foremost faithfully strong. As a single mom of 2 children I find myself asking god to help me gain and find what is pleasing to him. I hope to be able to achieve all these desires through him.

Sometimes I feel that I am not worth anything, that I am useless. I have always felt inadequate and that I have nothing of value to be offered. I guess, in a way, I am like the widow's mites, though I have little to offer I will give it all to the Lord.

It may sound stupid, but my desire for years has been to be in a relationship. I'm 24 and feel lonely and as the time passes it feels like I'm not becoming strong, but the opposite - uncertain, looking on myself like its my fault(what do I miss), impatient and sad. I know I have to pray and be hopeful, but my mind is pressuring me on the opposite side of things and making me feel unworthy.

Thank you Mark. Timely word🙏 I got this word on 10/16/21... "Egypt relationship is a bond or connection that you formulated when you were slaved when you weren't filled with the spirit...and you were under Pharaoh's command but know you are under Jesus love"...
