🤣😂 my airbrushing skills clearly need to be worked on 🤦‍♂️😂

UPDATE: adding a link to freakshopgallery which appears to be the original creator of this design/belt krang idea! Glad Nikko made things right with freakshopgallery & were able to get this sorted!

You really did a lot of work on this file, I really liked how you did that editing in nomad sculpt. I never used the tool before so this was a definite eye opener.
One thought regarding fixing the Krang. Obviously the partial clog have to be corrected but I had a question. Do you think if you use the heat gun on that initial Krang print could that have corrected the part? Certainly it would not have been perfect but I've seen a lot of people correct prints by applying heat and I'm curious if you think that might have worked here? Anyway like always amazing stuff here! Thanks for sharing!

If you need a part to slot into place, then you should use the tool, I forget the name it, "sweep" maybe...
You set one object as the tool and then a line the path of motion, and it cuts through other objects in the same way as you would need for pushing the object through the other.
Just copy the eye, expand it by the tolerance you want, set the line path to end so that the eyes end up were you want them and you end up with a perfect cutout that allows you to push the part in.
Even if the path you use is a curve, it will slide in.

You asked about the 80's how about a helmet from the cartoon/toy line Mask? Love your videos and work!

Your airbrushing expertise instills a sense of assurance and optimism in me. I express my gratitude for your contributions.
It proves having fun is as much part of the process

Cool project but 1) just print it in one or two pieces and paint, would be way easier in the end
2) the cell shade looks more like edge weathering

Very cool! That looks great!!

For an idea suggestion: I've wanted to 3D print a mouth open/close mechanism for my 1990 movie-perfect Donatello costume mask, to make it so it uses my mouth/jaw to function. That would be amazing!

That's pretty epic! Now print the rest of his body on the giga....
I love how 3d printing enables artistic experimentation, if it doesn't come out how you wanted just print up another and try again!

I love that it is life size! You probably could have knocked the gloss down with a mat clear, maybe even scuffed it with some sand paper and then hit it with the mat.
I would have gone for the photo realistic paint version with maybe glass lens eyes and LEDs in the red buttons on the bottom, maybe even drool but that's just me. lol
You are definitely going to need some good hooks or something to mount that on the wall!
Hmm, now you have me wanting to print that life size Tally-hawk again!

Nostalgia... Thanks for bringing back the fun childhood memories.

I would also use clear resin over the eyes to make them look moist.

To help save weight, consider using Adaptive Cubic infill. I used to be a big fan of gyroid too, but I found AC is lighter and just as strong.

I have a an X1C have been considering getting the ams but I have heard it makes it take forever to print making it less feasible business solution for an artist and industrial designer like myself who is looking to sell prints. What has been your experience?

Hi uncle Jessy, do you recommend the Neptune 4 Max? I saw it had some issues back in january, but do you know if they have been solved?

Make a wash and or dry brush your details in … you can do that even with colors just got to be quick with the wiping off part … but as for finer detail dry brushing is the way to go … tamiya makes really good paints and washes and even weathering powders that can make a huge difference in your end product …. Just makes sure to matte coat clear the pieces each time you add detail that way your basically priming it … and then do your final clear once your done ! I do it for my oni masks and gundam models!

This character is not from TMNT. This is a DC character from the X-Man called: Modock

LOL. Just goofin' around. Hopefully that became obvious with all the numerous wrong things.
Very cool build Jessy!
