Former Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro joins MSNBC’s Ari Melber for his first interview after he was served a criminal grand jury subpoena by DOJ prosecutors. Melber challenges Navarro’s claim that he cannot cooperate with the Jan. 6 probe because Donald Trump has not “waived” his “executive privilege,” asking Navarro “you do realize these investigators can hear you when you talk on TV?"

Every time this guy comes on your show he just digs the hole deeper and deeper.

I had a LOL moment when Ari said "You do realize these investigators can hear you when you talk on TV?" For a guy who wants to claim executive privilege not to talk, he sure talks a lot.

Executive privilege was never intended to facilitate sedition without consequences, and certainly not extended to sphincter residents. It should be removed from statute.

“As a senior White House official…” Lol. So he was working on behalf of the president to overthrow the government?

Why is he worried about executive privilege if he did nothing wrong?

I can't believe Ari conned this fool into doing another interview. This guy is going to talk himself right into prison.

Oversight. Congress has the
duty of oversight. And executive privilege won't be an issue, since DOJ is investigating crimes. Privilege would be out the window.

Peter Navarro deserve all the Legal Trouble that will come his way for ignoring the 6 Jan., Committee Subpoena.

No clue how you keep talking him into returning, Ari, but oh my stars and garters, you're an amazing journalist.

The current AG must work as swiftly to hold the former administration accountable as the previous AG did to protect their criminal allegations!

When he said he's putting his life on the line for "principle, " 🤣🤣 I almost fell out of my seat. What principles?

Navarro doesn't quite understand why people plead the fifth, does he?
The man cannot keep his big mouth shut.

Kudos to Ari for managing not to laugh in the face of this lowlife. “Constitutionality”… “executive privilege”… HAHAHA!

What an ignoramus! And how rude as well, he keeps interrupting Ari. And Peter was once a presidential aide? No wonder our country is in grave trouble.

Peter thinks if you keep talking and do not allow responses and challenges then you get the trumpian “win”.
