We kinda have to shut down a lot so we can move from coal mining to nuclear power which is cleaner and way more efficient also produces better energy

I've gotten hooked on Peter's documentaries lately. He has a lot of good videos about coal mining and Appalachia in general.

Ppl don’t wanna admit it but electric power comes from coal too. It’s just out of sight so for most it’s out of mind. Ppl think “electric” is so good for the environment when in reality it’s just as bad if not worse bc of the exploitation in Africa for the lithium mining. This guy in the vid sums it up perfectly! 😊

Nuclear power plant is where’s it at, not coal.

I respect him for his hard work but coal isn’t the only thing used to run electric plants. Some electric plants run on nuclear energy, wind, solar, hydro, or geothermal power.
