The U.S. has recorded more than 40 million coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. As David Begnaud reports, there are concerns the nation may see more spikes as Americans head back to work and school after Labor Day weekend. How did they get tested that quickly? Labor Day was Monday or are they assuming these numbers based on travel.

I thought you were A-symptomatic for a couple days? How could you have data from this weekend.

So dangerous you have to be tested to even know you have it.

Died “with covid” in car and motorcycle crashes, suicide, pneumonia…

The company I work for now makes everyone get tested every week even vaccinated people. We're also required to wear masks. I think testing weekly is a good thing cause the earlier covid is caught the more survivable it is.

Did you know these hospital scenes are acted out, it's illegal to film patients in a hospital.

"We're at higher risk now, than a year I'm still at a much higher risk of death, every morning I walk down the stairs.

Won't surprise me if this lasts for 5 more years.

Strange how daily cases were at an average of 10k new infections and ~1k deaths before the vaccines started up, it is even stranger when you look at how the case numbers DROPPED off a cliff after December and slowly creeped up along with the total vaccinations in the country.
If the vaccines are so effective at keeping people safe, then wouldn't the average daily cases be down compared to before vaccines?
Why is it that we have an average of ~300k new cases and ~10k deaths after a large chunk of the population has gotten vaccinated? How can that be explained by 'just get the vaccine and you'll be fine'?

You posted about the labor day surge 1 day after labor day - It takes 3-10 days for symptoms to emerge after exposure. Maybe if you told the truth people would believe more of what you are saying. This may be a surge, but unrelated to Labor Day activities. In 10 days the results will be out as to whether Labor Day travels caused more infection. Tell the truth and maybe your ratings will improve.

This is all a big lie! My sister is a nurse in Texas and she said everything is fine.

Nobody dying. Which means. Immunity.

Funny part is they are confirming cases without doing a confirmation test. The swab text is unreliable with mass false positives. More media/Biden administration lies!

That sounds like 40 million more that are as good as vaccinated. Damn….that is over 70% now.

The news knows how to show one grand number, but not provide the contextual factors or actual statistical results… Such an easy way to play with emotions.

let's be real here, once trump was out of office everyone stopped watching the news. They have to keep this going.
