The audio interface I was using is a Focusrite scarlett 18i8 3rd generation, here's a link to it,

Other things you need are Drum mics, Xlr to Xlr leads, Headphones, Macbook

Man. I knew how to do this for a long time. But then I didn't record anything for a long time and forgot. Today I used your video to re-train myself. So thank you for that! So embarrassing!

Thanks for this. Can you please tell me, though, why I am only offered 2 possible inputs? You version offers you 20.

Hi Great Video! I noticed you have more than 2 inputs. How did you enable more inputs for recording at the same time? I have a Machie 16 channel usb Profx v3 mixer and I only see 2 inputs. Thanks

Hey

I want to record a song and I would like logic to change track during recording. By using volume automation the guitar switches from one sound to another, when I play. The problem is that it doesn't change sound, when I record.

In your video You choose different inputs for each track, but when I change the input on one track, then the sound dissappears.

I could record each sound one at a time, but in this song it seams weird, because the song changes between two sounds all the time.

Do You have an idea what to do?

Bro thank you so much! Ran into this issue. Quick question tho when you clicked the plus bottom to add the tracks and it brings up a small box tab, asking for which input and out put . For example input : 2 and output 1-2, input 4 and output 3-4. Do I have to put all the outputs to stereo? I think I saw your settings set up like that. Thanks fam

Hey so I'm trying to multi track with Logic Pro x using a audio interface mixer (Yamaha mg20xu) and I have 3 inputs plugged in but I'm having trouble getting connected to logic, I'm guessing maybe my settings are messed up ?

Mine won’t do it. I’ve been trying to record 2 tracks at the same time with no success. I may have something in my settings wrong.

hey man, great video!! I ran into a problem where i want to run monitor two tracks from one guitar to have like a stereo rig, but logic won't allow this (i'm not trying to stereo record, but to just monitor multiple tracks at once).. Do you know how i can fix this?
