I'm glad this has finally been discussed. It's a normal and natural function. Thanks for discussing this topic.

I took care of an elderly lady who had been in a concentration camp. She told me many women stopped having periods because of poor nutrition.

Most female periods would have stopped due to lack of food and stress

This topic is one reason that when donations are needed for various reasons (tornados, hurricane, etc.), I always send feminine products.
I cant imagine losing everything during a disaster...then I start my period.
Bless all that came before us ❤

This never crossed my mind, it is devastating. My cramps are like a HUGE PAIN, I can't even think how they managed to deal with everything.

The smell too. If not being able to clean your groin and using old rags over and over. So sad. I actually did wonder about this. Thankfully living in a free world now, we take this for granted.

This period of time really saddens me. The whole inhumanity of it all is just intolerable!

It's very sad what happened during the Holocaust. I have met some survivors and I have great respect for the survivors. It's so sad that periods are such a taboo subject.

In marine corps boot camp everyone’s period stops due to psychological and physical stress. I never really knew why but it was a blessing in disguise not having to deal with the cramps, anemia, and fatigue that come with it. These poor women and girls were starving and exhausted and having to work in these conditions. Everything about the holocaust was horrible.

What utter horror for such a natural process.💔

I can't imagine how any of them were forced to live that way. This subject breaks my heart so much. I remember learning about the concentration camps in first year high after researching it I started to have nightmares and it was almost impossible to to shake. I don't understand how so many people can not only allow such cruelty but be part of it. Being denied the simple right to bathe, to take care of yourself it was not even something I thought about. 😔

Slavery, the holocaust, mass shootings, serial killers shows how evil man can be. Man's inhumanity to man . I cried during Schindlers list. It is incomprehensible to me how people can do the things to people (animals either for that fact) that they do.

I can't imagine bleeding all over in a crowd. It's definitely what we called the curse

I'm glad this video was made, even if the topic is horrifying. We need to remember that, for every nightmare that men went through, women usually went through something as, or sometimes more, horrific. And women have issues to worry about that men simply don't.
